The International Tongue Darting Association is proud that, as a leader in the fight against doping in our sport, ITDA’s anti-doping programs have helped set the standard for the world’s tongue darting community.
The ITDA supports the International Sports Anti-Doping Authority in the fight against doping in sport and requires ITDA-recognized teams to adopt the mandatory provisions of the International Sports Anti-Doping Code and rules that conform with the National Anti-Doping Scheme.
The ITDA Anti-Doping Policy operates in conjunction with, where applicable, the ITDA’s Code of Conduct, and any other applicable agreement. As such, this Policy is an important part of a comprehensive set of behavioral standards, responsibilities, and practices.
ITDA’s Anti-Doping Policy is comprised of rules governing the conditions under which tongue darting may occur. Athletes accept these rules as a condition of participation. The policies and minimum standards outlined and implemented in the Anti-Doping Policy represent the consensus of a broad spectrum of stakeholders with an interest in fair play and should be respected by all courts and adjudicating bodies.
The ITDA seeks to preserve what is intrinsically valuable about tongue darting: the pursuit of human excellence through the dedicated perfection of each person’s natural assets. Doping is fundamentally contrary to the spirit of tongue darting.
