Bi-Anal Tongue Darting World Championship Enters Croatia

IDTA Continues to Spread Fan-Favorite Sport Wide Open

ZAGREB, CROATIA /January 31, 2018/SportsWire/ — The International Tongue Darting Association will hold its Bi-anal World Championships this summer in Croatia.

The bi-anal event attracts top names in the sport, including a number of world champions like Josh “Smiley” Wiener. The 2018 Tongue Darting World Championship in Croatia will be the highest attended event in the sport’s history, a record previously held by the Icelandic Tongue Darting Championship two years ago!

Teams from all over the world will be arriving in Croatia to represent their nations in the competition. Team USA will be returning after their first place win in Iceland in 2016. Team captain, Colonel Angus, explains the sport’s appeal: “Tongue darting is a sport like no other. It appeals to the most obsessive football fan, requires the skill of poker, and puts a smile on everyone’s cheeks.”

Once again the highly esteemed world championship trophy, the “Faire Feuille de Rose” will be up for grabs as teams try to come from behind and take home the coveted prize. The Championship provides more than just material gains, however.

As its popularity grows, the event details grow ever-more guarded. 2018 competition will take place over 14 days, July 24th – August 6th, and includes numerous multi-orifice events occurring around the country.
